De Telegraaf reports that Gianpiero Lambiase, Max Verstappen's race engineer, will leave for McLaren by 2028 at the latest. "Lambiase is not only Verstappen's right hand, but also Head of Racing," the report reads. "Technical director Pierre Waché no longer shares everything with the Brit, because he can of course transfer secret information to his future employer. It is not a really healthy situation." The same report says rival teams are picking off Red Bull mechanics, with Aston Martin and Cadillac offering up to thirty percent more, now that Red Bull is no longer at the absolute top.
